About Us
Finding Light with Iman
Iman’s Light Foundation strives to educate our children, youth, families, and diverse communities on the perils of Fentanyl, and other deadly drugs to prevent lethalities, a life of addiction, and of personal and family destruction. To advocate for severe legislative punitive consequences for drug dealers and traffickers to include no bails. Confiscated money and items must be used to fund rehabilitation centers and treatments for the victims. Robust protections must be in place for our children, youth and communities. Iman's Light will also provide much needed mental health wellness, strategies and techniques, by presenting life-changing/life-saving workshops to empower with healthier mindsets, and methodologies in order to tackle anxiety, depression, stress, anger, and conflicts, which have proven to be indicators and root causes of drug use (self medicate). Prevention and awareness workshops will also include correlation between drugs and human trafficking, abuse, and violence. Behavior modification, positive self-talk, critical thinking, emotional-self regulation, & nonviolence communication skills will be taught to our multicultural communities to directly combat drug temptations, & solve conflicts through peaceful means. To support, and provide key resources to victims, and grieving families.
Our Story
We are in the middle of a chemical warfare in the realm of drug addiction, where no infant, child, youth or adult should lose their life to Fentanyl, or any other drug. A world where “life” is considered priceless, and thus, to collectively strive to stop the utilization, sale, import, distribution, of illegal street Fentanyl, and any other deadly drug. To preserve and protect a long healthy life, especially for our most vulnerable.
